Girls With Balls (GWB) is Canada’s first women's floorball club! If you’ve never heard of floorball, the greatest sport in the world, you need to check out www.playfloorball.com
Founded in 2005, GWB has its roots in the Toronto Floorball League (www.leagueshare.com). GWB was created in an attempt to bring the female players in a male dominated league together as well as encourage other female players to try floorball! Giving women the option to join a women’s team created a fun, pressure free opportunity to play floorball.
GWB is for everyone! Whether you are an avid hockey player or have never played a stick sport GWB is a great way to try floorball and stay active!
In addition to playing in the Toronto Floorball Recreational League, GWB has competed in the East Coast Floorball Tournament (www.trianglefloorball.org), Canada Cup Floorball Championship (www.floorballcanada.com/canadacup), and the Montreal Floorball Open (www.floorballquebec.ca). We are fortunate to have been a fan favorite at each tournament we have participated in! There are no fans like GWB fans! Gooooo Balls!
